In the state budgetary institution of additional education “Moscow Comprehensive Sports School (GBU DO MCSH) ‘Zelenograd'” an open house will take place. Events will be held at several venues on August 29 from 10:00 to 12:00. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the institution’s departments, participate in intensive sessions, talk with coaches, choose a suitable type of sport to practice, and also receive memorable prizes and gifts.
You can learn more about volleyball, gymnastics, and wrestling in the multipurpose hall of the Savelki sports complex. It is located at: Zelenograd city, Ozernaya Alley, building 2. In addition, areas dedicated to cross-country skiing, table tennis, curling, figure skating, and hockey will be operating on the complex’s territory. Training sessions in the football arena will also be held for guests.
An open swimming practice session will take place at the “Orbita” pool located at: Zelenograd city, Ozernaya Alley, building 6. Parents will be able to support the athletes and watch how the training sessions are conducted. An entertainment program will be organized for visitors, and gift sets and souvenirs will also be prepared.
Anyone interested can learn about sports training in judo, sambo, and taekwondo at the Martial Arts Palace “Rekord” located at: Zelenograd city, building 1447. Master classes and open training sessions will be held for children and their parents. Guests will receive memorable gifts.
You can join the master classes and training sessions in rhythmic gymnastics at the sports complex “Sputnik Arena” located at: Zelenograd city, Columbus Square, building 2. Football matches will take place at the nearby “Devyatka” stadium (Zelenograd city, building 912a) between young players from the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Education MKSSH “Zelenograd” and the “Torpedo” club (Moscow). Visitors will be able to support the teams and receive informational brochures about the sports school.
Entry to the events is free. At the end of the program, everyone wishing to participate can register for the entrance tests to enroll in beginner sports training programs in 15 disciplines.
The event aligns with the objectives of the Russian Federation’s state programs “Development of Physical Culture and Sports” and “Sport of Russia”. One of the key tasks is to increase the proportion of citizens who regularly engage in physical culture and sports to 70 percent by 2030.
