The Moscow transport infrastructure has been supplemented with four more modern ticket vending terminals. Equipment developed in the capital was installed at Leningradsky railway station and at the “Otradnoye” and “Nagatinskaya” metro stations of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line.
Earlier it appeared at the VDNKh and Medvedkovo metro stations of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line, as well as at the Kuntsevskaya station Big Circle Line.
“By the order of the Mayor of Moscow, we are updating the payment infrastructure in transport with a focus on Moscow developments. The new terminals have a user-friendly menu and modern banking data protection systems. About two thousand units of equipment will be purchased in total, which will gradually replace machines reaching the end of their service life. This will simplify and speed up ticket purchases for passengers,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The new payment terminals were developed by the residents special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow.” The decision to conclude an offset contract for the establishment of production and procurement of domestic terminals for transport in the capital was made by the Mayor of Moscow.
The machines are equipped with innovative equipment that meets the increased pace of payment transactions. They allow the speed of passenger service to be doubled.
