The renovation of the dance floor in the “Ostankino” park at VDNH has been completed. Dance evenings, master classes, and other events regularly take place here for music lovers and fans of active recreation.

The dance floor’s wooden decking covering an area of 512 square meters, the roof, and the transparent canopy covering have been replaced. In addition, the fencing, drainage system, certain sections of electrical wiring, and lighting equipment have been restored. Thirty-four new wooden support columns have been installed. The canopy protects the area from precipitation and allows events to be held even during rain. The wooden elements and facade surfaces are now painted bright green.

On the dance floor in Ostankino Park, enthusiasts of various styles, as well as those who want to have a good time, come together. Since August 18, regular bachata master classes have been held here — a Latin American social dance that combines fluidity and freedom of movement. The classes take place every Tuesday and Thursday until September 24 under the guidance of professional trainers.

From 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM, dance music plays on the floor, from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM there is a master class, after which until 10:55 PM you can practice the new moves to Latin rhythms. You can come with a partner or alone — meeting people while dancing is easy and fun.

Entry to the dance floor and master classes is free.
