On August 29, traditional free competitions in roller skiing and roller skating will be held on the tracks of the Maryino ski-biathlon complex (2/1 Maryinsky Park Street).
Athletes aged five and older are invited to participate. It will be possible to run in 36 groups for different ages.
The competition will take place over distances of 1.55 kilometers, 3.7 kilometers, 7.4 kilometers, and 11.1 kilometers. Depending on the chosen course, participants must complete one or several laps of the distance. Athletes will compete in an individual (personal) category. The races start at 10:00.
The participants in the 1.55-kilometer distance (with a staggered start every 15 seconds) will be the first to start. Winners and prize-winners are determined by the best completion time of the distance in each age category. The best will receive gifts from the organizers. There will also be a photo zone at the venue.
Roller ski and inline skating competitions have been held in Moscow since 2008. Previously, the races took place in various park areas and sports venues, including on the track in Alyoshkinsky Forest. This year, for the first time, athletes will be hosted at the venue in the Maryino ski and biathlon complex. Anyone interested can participate, for which prior registration on the site.
