Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a working meeting with the Governor of the Irkutsk Region, Igor Kobzev.
The main topic of the meeting was the situation in the regional petroleum products market.
The Head of the Irkutsk Region reported to the Deputy Prime Minister that the situation with the region’s fuel supply is under his personal control. A regional fuel headquarters operates for prompt response to arising issues. Information on the situation in the region is promptly conveyed to the Ministry of Energy and the federal headquarters. Currently, fuel is being dispensed to citizens at 310 gas stations, and work continues with refineries on shipping contracted volumes. Special attention is given to supplying fuel to remote and hard-to-reach areas.
Also during the meeting, the head of the region reported that the preparation of electric power entities for the heating season is ongoing. The government of the Irkutsk region, together with electric power entities, conducted an inventory of the region’s emergency technical reserves to assess readiness to respond to emergencies during peak loads.
