Moscow continues to consistently expand its modern industrial infrastructure, creating conditions for the placement of high-tech manufacturing across all districts of the city. Today, the area of industrial development in the capital exceeds 13 million square meters, and by 2030 this figure will almost double and exceed 25 million square meters.
“New industrial facilities localize the production of in-demand products, attract investments, create new jobs near home. New industrial facilities are becoming growth points for the urban economy: they enable the localization of the production of in-demand products, attract investments, create new high-paying jobs, and strengthen the technological potential of the capital and our entire country.
By the end of the first half of 2026, 12 new high-tech industrial facilities with a total area of over 419 thousand square meters were put into operation in Moscow. These are modern enterprises in the construction industry, pharmaceuticals, light industry, cosmetic production, and scientific research activities. Private investors allocated almost 53 billion rubles for the implementation of these projects. More than 5.6 thousand jobs have been created at the new enterprises.
Among the most significant new facilities is the industrial-construction complex of the FSK Group in Zelenograd, which has become one of the largest in Russia. It includes four high-tech production lines for building materials — aerated concrete blocks and reinforced panels, architectural insulated glass units, translucent structures, and modular facades — as well as an industrial technopark. The complex’s products will be used in the construction of residential buildings, social facilities, and urban infrastructure. Translucent structures are already being supplied for the construction of residential buildings in Moscow.
In addition, in the first half of 2026, the architectural concrete plant of the Krost concern and the laboratory complex of the Moscow Endocrine Plant were put into operation.
Three buildings of the Shishkin Les industrial and logistics park, the industrial parks Senkino and Kuvekino, were opened in TiNAO, and the construction of the Hydrix scientific and production enterprise was completed. The total area of these facilities exceeded 230 thousand square meters, and after the enterprises reach their design capacity, approximately 3,200 jobs will be created here.

Industrial parks allow placing several enterprises on a single site, providing them with ready-made production and storage facilities, as well as engineering and transport networks. This reduces the timeframes for launching new productions and lowers companies’ costs for creating their own infrastructure. Moreover, this format makes it possible to use urban territories more efficiently and simultaneously create new production sites for enterprises in various industries, as well as organize internal cooperation.
By the end of 2026, an additional 640.4 thousand square meters of modern industrial space is planned to be commissioned in the city. In particular, the second half of the year is expected to see the completion of construction of enterprises in the pharmaceutical, electronic, cosmetic, packaging, and food industries, as well as new industrial technoparks and logistics complexes.
Among the largest facilities are the production of genetically engineered pharmaceutical drugs, a packaging manufacturing enterprise, production of key components for harvesting equipment, as well as enterprises producing electronic equipment, cosmetic products, rechargeable batteries, and equipment for hypersonic technologies. After commissioning, the new facilities will provide for the creation of over 12,400 well-paid jobs in the industrial sector.
In addition, enterprises located in the territory were launched in the first half of the year special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow.” On the sites of the SEZ, 87.5 thousand square meters of modern production infrastructure have been built through private investments. By the end of 2026, it is planned to complete the construction of another 10 facilities totaling about 593 thousand square meters on the territory of the special economic zone, which will further expand the opportunities for hosting new high-tech industries.
