Hohhot, August 20 /Xinhua/ — Recently, a delegation from Penza State Agrarian University, together with representatives of Chengtong Human Resources Co., Ltd., visited the Vocational Technical College of the Inner Mongolia Agricultural University. During the visit, a tripartite cooperation agreement was signed concerning the “Northern Workshop” project (“Beijiang Workshop”) in Moscow, marking the transition of this agrarian vocational education project involving Chinese and Russian educational institutions and Chinese enterprises into the stage of practical implementation.
“Northern Workshop” is a professional education brand promoted by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as part of the “Overseas Vocational Education” program, aimed at providing Chinese standards of vocational education, teaching and methodological materials, and vocational training services. The Moscow project, jointly proposed by three parties, has already received official approval from the Education Department of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The project’s duration is three years. It will be based in the Greenwood industrial park, managed in Moscow by the Chinese corporation China Chengtong Holdings Group Ltd., and is intended to train local qualified technical personnel for Chinese enterprises operating in Russia.
During the visit, the delegation became acquainted with the experimental and training center for intelligent agricultural machinery and the comprehensive training and repair center for vehicles powered by new energy sources, and also visited the modern agriculture exhibition park “Chilechuan,” where they practically studied the conditions for training specialists in the fields of modern agriculture, automotive engineering, and other areas.
The subsequent seminar on cooperation and exchange of opinions was devoted to discussing concrete measures for implementing the “Northern Workshop” project in Moscow, mutual internship and faculty exchange programs, joint personnel training, as well as research cooperation in the agricultural field. The parties agreed to promote the practical implementation of the relevant cooperation areas and jointly work on training qualified personnel for the agricultural sector of both countries. -0-
