The Chamber Ensemble “Soloists of Moscow” will hold a concert at the Moscow Musical Theatre “Helikon-Opera.” It will take place as part of the festival “Shostakovich Instead of Confusion,” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Dmitry Shostakovich’s birth.
In the ‘Stravinsky’ hall, the Prelude and Scherzo, Piano Concerto No. 1, and Quartet No. 8 arranged for string orchestra will be performed.
The artistic director and chief conductor of the ensemble is People’s Artist of the USSR Yuri Bashmet. The concert will also feature Honored Artist of Russia Polina Agureeva (spoken word) and international competition laureate Philipp Kopachevsky (piano).
The concert will be held in one act.
