Beijing, August 17 /Xinhua/ — China State Post Corporation /China Post/ on Monday issued a series of commemorative stamps marking the centenary of the birth of the late leader Jiang Zemin.
The set consists of two regular commemorative stamps and one souvenir sheet.
One stamp depicts Jiang Zemin in Shanghai, and the other shows Jiang Zemin at the 15th Congress of the Communist Party of China.
The souvenir sheet depicts Jiang Zemin waving to the marching crowd from the Tiananmen rostrum.
The total face value of the two regular stamps is 2.4 yuan /about 35.36 US cents/, and the value of the souvenir sheet is 6 yuan. A total of 4 million sets of regular stamps and 3.2 million souvenir sheets will be issued.
The stamps and souvenir sheet will be available for six months at designated post offices, on the philatelic online platform, and through the China Post mobile app.
