The admissions campaign has concluded at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. A total of 1,173 applicants have been admitted to tuition-free undergraduate and specialist degree places.

It can be concluded that this year the applicants have shown significantly increased interest in all fields of study at our university, as the passing scores for admission to the budget-funded places have risen substantially across all fields. The most notable increase was in the field 23.05.01. Ground Transport Technology – from 176 to 221 points. In the new field 08.03.01. Construction (Restoration of Buildings and Structures), the passing score was 252 points.

The most sought-after specialty became 08.03.01. Construction, Industrial and Civil Construction, where due to high demand the passing score rose from 238 in 2025 to 258. The increase in passing scores indicates heightened competition and an overall improvement in the level of preparation of the applicants.

This year, for the first time, admissions were conducted for the specialty “Restoration of Buildings and Structures” (within the training field “Construction”), which received 2,182 applications. For the new bachelor’s program 20.03.02. Environmental Management and Water Use, Environmental Arrangements and Engineering Protection of Territories, 787 applications were submitted.

Furthermore, this year, the programs 23.03.01 Technology of Transport Processes and 23.03.03 Operation of Transport and Technological Machines and Complexes were very popular.

A distinctive feature of the 2026 admission campaign was the increase in the number of applications submitted through the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services: 99.5 percent of the total number of applicants who submitted applications to SPbGASU used this option.

Overall, compared to 2025, the number of applicants has doubled. It should also be noted that the interaction between sponsors of targeted education (employers) and future students training to become their future employees under the targeted quota has improved. This year, applications were received both from the university’s regular partners and from new organizations. The range of applications spans from architects, restorers, and landscape designers to surveyors, cadastral specialists, and territory engineering preparation experts.

The final results of admission, including paid education, will be announced on August 23.
