Transactions with debt securities on the secondary market of the Moscow Exchange in July 2026 were conducted by 746.7 thousand retail investors (+21.4% compared to July 2025). Their share in the bond trading volume amounted to 14.5%.

Private investors invested 100.9 billion rubles in bonds on the Moscow Exchange stock market in July. Of these, 99% was invested in corporate bonds in rubles, and 1% in ruble-denominated OFZs and bonds in foreign currency.

The volume of bond placements in July amounted to 885.6 billion rubles, including one-day bonds worth 287.5 billion rubles.

The volume of secondary trading in bonds in July amounted to 2.2 trillion rubles (+36.1% compared to July 2025). This includes OFZ trading volume at 1.4 trillion rubles (+61% compared to July 2025), and corporate bonds at 723.4 billion rubles (+9.1% compared to July 2025).

In the over-the-counter segment with a central counterparty in July 2026, the volume of transactions amounted to 191.2 billion rubles.

The debt market of the Moscow Exchange is a hub for raising funds for Russian companies, combining a developed infrastructure, reliability, and advanced bond trading technologies. Bonds traded on the Moscow Exchange have an outstanding volume amounting to almost one-third of GDP. The range of more than four thousand instruments, issued by 500 issuers, includes OFZs, corporate bonds, as well as complex debt instruments. Over 1.7 million retail investors trade bonds on the Moscow Exchange. In 2025, the volume of bond trading amounted to 42 trillion rubles, and the average daily trading volume since the beginning of 2026 has exceeded 150 billion rubles.
