Alexander Novak held a working meeting with the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, Alexey Texler.
The parties discussed the development of the electric grid complex, the implementation of plans for gasification and additional gasification, as well as the current situation in the fuel market.
During the meeting, it was noted that the Chelyabinsk region is consistently implementing measures to increase the accessibility of gas supply for residents. The region’s level of gasification exceeds the national average. The construction of new gas distribution infrastructure facilities continues, as well as the implementation of the social gasification program, including in the territories of garden non-commercial partnerships.
Alexander Novak emphasized the importance of a systematic approach to this work: “Gasification and additional gasification remain one of the key areas for improving people’s quality of life. It is important to ensure the timely fulfillment of adopted plans, strict adherence to infrastructure construction schedules, and accessibility of connection for citizens. The Chelyabinsk region demonstrates good progress in this regard, and this work must be consistently continued.”
Special attention was given to the development of the region’s electrical grid complex. In particular, the progress of construction of the 110/10 kV Malinovka substation was discussed, as well as the implementation of measures to improve the reliability of power supply to active residential development areas, including in the Sosnovsky municipal district and on the western shore of the Shershnevsky reservoir. It was noted that network organizations are carrying out systematic work on the construction and reconstruction of electrical network facilities, taking into account the growing demand for technological connections.
Aleksey Teksler noted that the region pays special attention to the modernization of energy infrastructure: “For the Chelyabinsk region, the development of gas and electric grid infrastructure is directly linked to the tasks of comprehensive territorial development, housing construction, and improving living conditions. We consistently implement projects in gasification, social post-gasification, and electricity supply for areas with active development, paying particular attention to the reliability and accessibility of energy supply for the region’s residents.”
The situation in the regional fuel market was also discussed at the meeting. Alexey Teksler informed the deputy prime minister that a regional fuel supply headquarters has been established to coordinate the actions of government bodies, fuel companies, and specialized services. Regular meetings are held during which the current fuel supply situation, operation of gas stations, levels of petroleum product stocks, condition of logistics chains, as well as additional measures necessary for stabilizing the situation, are reviewed.
According to Alexey Texler, the region has ensured uninterrupted fuel supply to emergency services, medical organizations, utility companies, and other socially significant consumers. In addition, at present, there is a decrease in the surge of consumer demand at gas stations, and the situation is stabilizing.
“It is important to maintain the stability of the regional fuel market, ensure the availability of necessary volumes of fuel, and take prompt response measures if necessary. These issues are under constant supervision,” noted Alexander Novak.
