Since April 2026, PJSC “NEFAZ”, a subsidiary of “KAMAZ” in Bashkortostan, has been participating in an all-Russian preventive project aimed at the early detection of malignant neoplasms and raising oncological awareness among the population. In July, the third stage of the “Oncopatrol” project took place at the enterprise.

At the first stage, specialists from the Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary conducted a comprehensive oncological examination on the premises of the enterprise, which was undergone by more than 1,500 factory workers. The examination program included questionnaires, laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, a therapist’s consultation, as well as consultations with specialists. This stage was also dedicated to educational work: a series of preventive lectures for enterprise employees was held in the conference hall of PJSC NEFAZ.

Based on the results of the initial analyses and examinations, employees, if necessary, received a referral for the second stage – further examination at local clinics and subsequent appointments with doctors based on referrals.

Following the results of the two stages, more than one hundred people were invited to the third stage for an in-depth examination. For this purpose, a medical team arrived at “NEFAZ,” which included specialists from the Republican Clinical Oncology Dispensary (Ufa) and the National Medical Research Center of Radiology of the Ministry of Health of Russia (Moscow). The in-depth examination program included consultations with specialized doctors and ultrasound examinations. The factory workers received detailed information about their health status and further medical recommendations.

Alongside the medical examinations of “NEFAZ” employees at the Neftekamsk City Hospital, an educational program for medical workers was held. Leading specialists conducted master classes on ultrasound, endoscopic, and radiological diagnostics, sharing their experience with modern methods of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
