The government commission on improving the efficiency of federal property use and territorial development approved the transfer to DOM.RF of new assets: land plots with a total area of about 16.5 hectares and real estate objects with a combined area of over 20,500 square meters. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
“Comprehensive redevelopment of territories is one of the priority tasks of Russia’s construction complex, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this week. By consistently involving federal land plots and real estate objects in economic circulation, the Government is creating additional growth points for regions and opportunities for businesses. The assets transferred to DOM.RF include over 16 hectares of land and 20,000 square meters of real estate across 11 regions, which, after all preliminary procedures are completed, will be sold through auctions. Investors will gain access to sites for residential development and the construction of commercial infrastructure. Additionally, the lots include two historic and architectural monuments that will be handed over to investors for restoration,” said Marat Khusnullin.
The matter concerns cultural heritage sites in the Moscow and Tomsk regions. In the town of Ozyory near Moscow, an outbuilding of the Sennitsy estate, built in the 18th–19th centuries, will be put up for auction. In Tomsk, there is a wooden two-story residential house from the early 20th century, located on Karl Marx Street.
“The activities of the government commission help to bring various properties into circulation and put them up for auction by DOM.RF, on the sites of which residential neighborhoods, new commercial enterprises, and restored historic buildings later appear. This comprehensive work makes it possible to renew entire cities and territories, improve the quality of the urban environment, and address the socio-economic challenges of the regions,” noted Denis Filippov, Deputy General Director of DOM.RF.
Among the lots to be auctioned are plots totaling about 3.5 hectares in the Trans-Baikal and Kamchatka Krais, Voronezh Oblast, and Saint Petersburg for the construction of a total of 11,400 square meters of housing.
