Representatives of the Russian Air Force aerobatic team, led by Deputy Commander for Flight Training Denis Kuznetsov, visited PJSC KAMAZ.
The introductory tour of Russia’s leading engineering company began with a visit to the KAMAZ Visitor Center: guests were told about the unique historical path of the automotive giant and its new stages of development. Next, the delegation members visited the company’s most modern factory with a high degree of automation – the Cabin Frames Plant. At KAMAZ’s final production site – the Automobile Plant – they saw the operation of the cabin assembly line and the main assembly conveyor.
Another educational point of the excursion program was a visit to the APEC “KAMAZ-MASTER”, the base of the legendary sports team “KAMAZ-master.” The guests were told about the history and numerous victories of the team in international rallies. Representatives of the Russian Air Force aviation group also saw the racing trucks on which the KAMAZ team won sports trophies.
At the Scientific and Technical Center testing ground, an exhibition of modern KAMAZ vehicle models was organized, demonstrating the company’s extensive manufacturing capabilities. The exhibition featured the latest high-tech KAMAZ K5 generation tractors and dump trucks, including the gas-powered version of the KAMAZ-54901 vehicle, the city bus KAMAZ-4280-F5 VEGA, the electric garbage truck KAMAZ-53198 “Chistogor,” and other models.
The aerobatic team visited Naberezhnye Chelny and “KAMAZ” as part of a visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. Once again, the “Swifts” participated in the annual aviation festival “I Choose the Sky,” held on August 1 in Kazan, performing on MiG-29 fighters. The event was dedicated to promoting aviation, attracting young people to the industry, and increasing interest in engineering and technical professions. At “KAMAZ,” guests were impressed by the scale of production and the high level of domestic technologies. “I did not expect such a huge enterprise, KAMAZ is like a city within a city.
