On Tuesday, July 28, a delegation of industrial enterprise leaders from the Chuvash Republic, headed by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy Alexander Smirnov, paid a working visit to KAMAZ.
The route traditionally began with a visit to the KAMAZ Visitor Center: representatives of the region’s industrial companies were told about the unique history of the automotive giant and its modern achievements. Also, as part of the working visit, the group visited the main production sites.
At JSC “KAMA DIESEL,” Aleksandr Smirnov and other executives were introduced to the production of KAMAZ inline six-cylinder engines, and at LLC “CF KAMA,” to the production of gearboxes. The delegation members also visited the company’s most modern plant with a high degree of automation – the Cab Frame Plant. At KAMAZ’s final production stage – the Automobile Plant – guests were shown the cab assembly line and the main assembly line. The concluding point of the familiarization tour was a visit to NP “KAMAZ-Autosport,” where the “KAMAZ-master” racing team is based.
The visit concluded with negotiations held in the company’s General Directorate building. The parties discussed issues related to the acquisition and maintenance of KAMAZ vehicles. The meeting was attended by Andrey Kozhevnikov, General Director of the KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company, Alexander Migal, Director of the Marketing Analysis Department of PJSC KAMAZ, and other executives.
