The applied ecology laboratory of the Ufa design institute “Rosneft” successfully passed interlaboratory tests on water quality analysis. The large-scale testing involved 45 laboratories from 13 countries.
The task for the participants was to determine the content of cadmium in control water samples as accurately as possible. Specialists from the Ufa institute conducted all the necessary studies using modern high-precision equipment. The studies included constructing calibration curves*, analyzing samples, and conducting internal laboratory controls. Independent evaluation and verification of the results were carried out by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Successful completion of the tests confirms the high qualification of the laboratory specialists and the impeccable accuracy of the analyses conducted. This achievement confirms that the institute operates in accordance with the best global practices and ensures high reliability of the research.
Interlaboratory comparative tests are organized with the support of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China, an international association of scientific organizations, and the Russian Federal Service for Accreditation.
The Applied Ecology Laboratory of the Ufa Design Institute has been operating for over 30 years. It conducts a wide range of studies to assess the state of the environment and the ecological monitoring of oil production facilities.
