In 2026, more than 550 million rubles will be allocated for the implementation of priority measures in the field of civil aviation. The order was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.

Most of the funds are intended for the development and operation of the state information systems of Rosaviatsiya.

In particular, the funding will go towards the refinement and operation of the federal state information system “Automated Information System for the Provision of Public Services by the Federal Air Transport Agency.” This refinement will help increase the promptness of public service delivery.

In addition, the funds are intended to expand the functional capabilities of the mandatory certification system for the typical design of aviation equipment (FGIS “Aviasert”). In order to increase operational efficiency, it will be connected to the interagency electronic interaction system. This will help reduce the time required to complete all procedures when creating new aircraft.

Also, federal funding will cover the services for maintenance of Rosaviatsiya’s server and network infrastructure, updating information security tools, and operating Rosaviatsiya’s electronic document management system.

Another order introduced amendments to the passports of investment projects for preferential leasing of domestic helicopters. This concerns an additional order for the production of 72 universal Mi-8 helicopters, which are in demand both for transport purposes and for the prompt provision of medical aid and rescue operations in regions with remote and hard-to-reach areas. The first deliveries of these helicopters to domestic airlines are expected to begin as early as 2026. Their total cost is estimated at nearly 50 billion rubles.
