The government has allocated funding to the Kursk region to support housing and communal services enterprises.

Funding will be allocated from the Government’s reserve fund to the Kursk region for targeted support of housing and communal services enterprises. An order to this effect has been signed.

Financial assistance will be received by 22 organizations. This will help compensate for their losses due to the suspension of charges for housing and communal services in certain areas of the region.

This suspension has been in effect since August 2024, when a federal state of emergency was declared in the Belovsky, Bolshesoldatsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky, Lgovsky, Rylsky, Sudzhansky, and Khomutovsky districts, and a counter-terrorist operation began.

The adopted decision will make it possible to ensure the stable operation of local specialized companies and resource-supplying organizations, as well as to timely prepare engineering and network infrastructure for the autumn-winter period.
