For effective public civil service, conscientious performance of work duties, long and impeccable service, a large group of employees of PJSC “KAMAZ” were awarded the medals “For Labor Valor” by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The award ceremony took place today, July 30, at the KAMAZ Visit Center.

The awards were presented by Sergey Kogogin, the CEO of PJSC KAMAZ. “It is an honor for me today to present you with the awards you have earned through years of hard work. You are the working people. Over the 50 years of its history, the trucks we produce together have truly become a symbol of the country and today make a huge contribution to strengthening its defense capability. United, the KAMAZ team from the very first days of the special military operation is serving in the name of Victory! In the shortest possible time, a whole range of military and specialized equipment has been developed and is being produced, constantly improved based on combat experience. We send humanitarian cargo, support mobilized workers and their families!” – noted Sergey Kogogin, opening the awards ceremony.

48 employees have been awarded the “For Labor Valor” medals of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: representatives of factories, the Scientific and Technical Center, the Technological Center, the Production Management Department, the Logistics Center, and other divisions have been honored.

The prelude to the award ceremony was a video titled “The Role of KAMAZ for the Sake of Victory.” Since the very first days of the special military operation, the company has been actively involved in supporting servicemen, military units, and the population of the new regions of Russia. Since 2022, PJSC KAMAZ has sent 27 convoys to the SVO zone totaling 1.56 billion rubles, and the total weight of humanitarian cargo has exceeded 1850 tons.

The event concluded with a video dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the founding of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and the 50th anniversary of the production of the first KAMAZ truck. Additionally, a tour of the KAMAZ Visit Center was organized for the awarded KAMAZ employees.
