On Tuesday, July 28, a ceremonial opening of the All-Russian student production project of the Russian Student Teams (RSO) “KAMAZ” took place in Naberezhnye Chelny on the square in front of the Organ Hall. From July 20 to September 30, 330 students will work at five plants of PJSC “KAMAZ” – the Automotive, Foundry, Press and Frame plants, the Bridge Plant, and the Engine Plant.
This year, student teams from 19 regions of Russia are participating in the project: Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kostroma, Omsk, Orenburg, Penza, Tver, Ulyanovsk, and Chelyabinsk oblasts, Altai and Krasnoyarsk territories, the Republics of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and Mari El, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, and Sevastopol. The project is being implemented in the framework of two anniversaries – the 50th anniversary of the first KAMAZ truck production and the 400th anniversary of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

He also thanked the management of KAMAZ for supporting the student movement and for the trust placed in the youth.
The ceremonial opening was attended by State Duma deputy Alfeya Kogogina, Deputy General Director for Security of PJSC KAMAZ Siren Galiakberov, Deputy General Director – Chief Financial Officer of PJSC KAMAZ Andrey Maksimov, representatives of the Naberezhnye Chelny city administration, and Russian student squads. During the event, travel vouchers were presented to the student squads. An exhibition of KAMAZ vehicles was organized in front of the Organ Hall. Guests took the opportunity to take commemorative photos against the backdrop of the trucks and inside their cabins.
The All-Russian Student Work Squad “KAMAZ” is being implemented for the fifth time. “We do it excellently!” is the slogan of the anniversary season of the project. Besides working at the automotive giant, students will participate in sports and creative events, educational activities, and volunteer actions. Master classes, career guidance meetings, and games will be held at the social shelter for children and adolescents “Asyltash”; at the shelter for homeless animals “Azira,” they will help with cleaning the territory and caring for the animals. Additionally, students will take part in the all-Russian patriotic campaign “Day of High-Intensity Work.” Its goal is that on one of the days of the work semester, members of student squads demonstrate special labor achievements, and the wages earned on that day are transferred to the Russian Student Squads Fund for various social needs.
This year, the mentorship system, which is a distinctive feature of the All-Russian Student Production Squad “KAMAZ,” will be practiced again. Three students who previously participated in the work will take on leadership positions in the project. Their activities will be supervised by employees of the Zonal Headquarters of Student Squads of PJSC “KAMAZ,” who have successfully implemented four nationwide projects based at the auto giant over the past two years.
Also in September, an in-person stage of the all-Russian media contest “Bloggers at the Auto Giant” will take place as part of the project. Finalists will come to Naberezhnye Chelny to see all the work from inside and share in their blogs about the enterprise and opportunities for students.
At the conclusion of the project, the best student teams will be announced based on production performance, commissar activities, and a comprehensive evaluation of their work.
Russian student brigades are the largest labor movement of Russian youth. Every year, hundreds of thousands of young people work in student brigades, gaining their first work experience, earning a decent salary, and making a significant contribution to the country’s development. Before the summer work semester begins, participants in the movement can receive free training in an additional working profession. Since 2021, more than 170 thousand people have taken advantage of this opportunity.
