At the All-Russian seminar-meeting from the “KVN – School of Leaders” project, new recommendations for the development of the KVN movement were developed, the role of humor in strengthening international friendship was discussed, and veterans of the special military operation were invited to join the game. The forum was traditionally organized by the State University of Management in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Methodological Center for the Study and Strengthening of the KVN Movement in Universities, and the TTO “AMiK”.

This year, the forum was called “KVN. Expanding Boundaries” and brought together key experts, government representatives, and heads of university leagues to discuss the directions for KVN’s development in the context of modern youth policy.

Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova, Rector of the State University of Management Vladimir Stroev, Deputy General Director of AMiK TTO Ruben Partevyán, Head of the “Defenders of the Fatherland” Foundation of the Kaliningrad Region Olga Voronova, and others participated in the plenary session.

The rector of GUU emphasized in his speech the role of KVN as a strategic tool of state youth policy and noted the need to scale up all-Russian projects related to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.

“KVN is not just a game; it is a full-fledged ecosystem and a school for future leaders who will shape the economy of our country. The majority of creative industries consist of people connected with KVN, and this must be taken into account, working with the participants of the movement and directing their energy in the right direction,” concluded Vladimir Stroev.

The main topics of discussion were the role of KVN and humor in strengthening the unity and friendship of the peoples of Russia, the formation of the institution of movement leaders, and the integration of the KVN movement into the development of youth entrepreneurship and the creative economy of the regions.

Over two days of intensive work, the participants conducted a number of project sessions aimed at identifying growth points and strengths of the KVN movement in universities. All the decisions made will form the basis of new methodological recommendations that will be sent to universities across the country.

In addition, for the first time in the history of KVN, a direct cooperation agreement was signed between the branch of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” in the Kaliningrad region and the official league of TTO “AMiK” “Western Russia.” The main goal of the cooperation is to ensure the social adaptation and rehabilitation of SVO veterans, helping their return to peaceful life through participation in cultural, mass, and creative projects.

Also, within the forum, there was a presentation of the large-scale all-Russian project “Rector’s Cup. Playing with the whole country,” which was launched in Sochi at the beginning of 2026. The project is dedicated to the anniversary of the beloved game and will include festive events covering every higher education institution in Russia.

Let us recall that it was on the basis of the State University of Management that the Methodological Center for the Study and Development of the KVN Movement was established in 2025, which became a full-fledged “support point” for universities across the country.
