Members of the commission on maternity and childhood protection of the trade union organization of PJSC KAMAZ conducted a scheduled inspection of the health camps “Solnechny” and “Krylatiy,” which are part of the OOK “Saulyk.” Currently, more than 400 children of the automotive giant’s employees are resting here.
The commission members inspected the residential buildings, showers, sanitary facilities, dining rooms, and sports grounds. They were accompanied by the wellness complex manager Natalia Shakirova and the deputy manager for educational work Veronika Kholodilova. Repair work is traditionally carried out in the camps before the start of the summer wellness campaign. This year, large-scale works affected “Solnechny,” and necessary updates were also made in “Krylatoe.” Good living conditions were noted everywhere: buildings are clean, furniture is in good condition, sanitary facilities are kept in order. Washing machines and clothes dryers are working – household issues are fully resolved. “Our children are in safe, comfortable conditions. We look at everything through the eyes of parents – food, healthcare, orderliness in the rooms. No complaints, the conditions are decent.”, – emphasized the representatives of the trade union committee.
The camp cafeterias operate according to a unified balanced menu. Five meals a day are organized. At “Krylaty,” the commission conducted a quality control check of the prepared dishes (tasting)—only positive evaluations were received. The medical station also raised no concerns: at the time of inspection, there were no sick children, and examinations are conducted regularly. The drinking regimen is observed: children are given bottles of drinking water, and the premises are regularly ventilated. There is also always access to boiled water in the cafeteria.
The leisure program at the camps is rich and varied. Children participate in sports games, play chess, engage in creative activities at workshops – everyone finds an activity they enjoy. The leisure activities are organized by counselors with a teaching background. This year, students from Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NCSPU), future teachers from a specialized pedagogical college, and representatives of the Russian Student Brigades (RSO) are working with the children. In conversations with the commission members, the children noted good food and interesting events organized by the counselors. According to the kids, it is thanks to them that each session flies by in the blink of an eye.
At the end of July, a true sports festival is expected on the football fields of “Solnechny” and “Krylatoe” – a traditional friendly match will be held here between vacationing children and the representative football teams of the “KAMAZ Trade Union.”
The trade union organization of “KAMAZ” regularly monitors the living conditions, food, and work of the staff in the camps. The latest inspection confirmed: the summer vacation at “Solnechny” and “Krylatiy” is organized at a good level – the safety and comfort of the children are a priority.
