Almaty, July 24 /Xinhua/ — Kazakhstan has temporarily reduced oil production volumes and suspended loading operations at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) marine terminal. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of the republic on Thursday.
At the same time, all production and technical facilities of the consortium are in good condition, operating normally, and ready to resume handling raw materials immediately after the situation normalizes, according to a comment from the Ministry of Energy.
The measure to reduce oil production volumes is of a technological nature and is aimed at ensuring the stability of production processes, the agency added.
The ministry also noted that they are in constant interaction with the management of KTK, the largest shippers, shipowners, and relevant government agencies. Continuous consultations are currently underway to develop solutions aimed at ensuring safe navigation conditions and the prompt resumption of stable exports of Kazakh oil to global markets. –0–
