Tehran, July 23 /Xinhua/ — If the United States strikes Iranian infrastructure, Tehran will completely block oil exports from West Asia and attack oil, gas, and energy facilities as well as economic infrastructure throughout the region. This was stated, according to local media, by the Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces “Khatam al-Anbiya.”
This warning was a response to the renewed threat made by US President Donald Trump to “bomb” Iranian bridges and power plants.
The headquarters emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, and passage of vessels will be permitted only along routes designated by Iran and in accordance with the country’s announced regulations. It was also noted that ongoing threats from the United States will only lead to an expansion of the scale of the war both in the region and beyond.

Any aggression against Iran, including against our infrastructure, will lead to a powerful and decisive response,” wrote Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday on social network X in response to D. Iran, following a series of American-Israeli strikes on its territory, tightened control over the Strait of Hormuz starting February 28, banning the safe passage of vessels belonging to or associated with Israel and the United States.
