Real cases, effective methodologies, networking, and new projects – students of the State University of Management shared about their participation in the first session “Unity” of the 12th All-Russian Youth Educational Forum “Territory of Meanings”.

A greeting to the participants, organizers, and guests of the forum was sent by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The head of state noted that “Territory of Meanings” has already become a popular platform for young people who are ready to propose ideas, seek like-minded individuals, and work for the benefit of the country.

Three students from the State University of Management, along with other participants of the first session, worked for several days on specific regional requests related to the development of youth policy.

“At the forum, university knowledge acquired practical guidelines for real management tasks. As the chairman of the Youth Chamber of the Ryazan district of Moscow, I will implement the acquired methods in my community work and integrate them into the university’s case studies. I am confident that this approach — combining study with real projects — will help one become a skilled specialist and build their professional career with greater confidence,” shared Nikita Smirnov, a 4th-year student of the ‘Public and Municipal Administration’ program.

At the Management Workshop “Senezh” of the Presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunities,” young activists attended lectures by renowned experts, participated in master classes, solved practical tasks, and analyzed real regional requests to propose effective solutions to overcome existing challenges.

“We didn’t just talk about the educational environment and civic identity; we immediately applied the theory to real management cases. Special thanks for the lively discussions and networking – it’s the perfect bridge between university and profession. I’m leaving with concrete proposals for the youth policy system and new ideas for my career,” noted Victoria Sivova, a 4th-year student of the “Organization Management” program.

The “Territory of Meanings” forum is implemented under the national project “Youth and Children” and this year will bring together three thousand participants aged 16 to 35 in both in-person and remote formats within three sessions: “Unity,” “Truth,” and “Motherland.”
