Tehran, July 21 /Xinhua/ — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps /IRGC/ on Tuesday detained two “non-compliant oil tankers” attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by the news agency IRNA.
“Two non-compliant oil tankers attempting to pass through the unsafe southern route via the Strait of Hormuz were detained after a fire broke out on board as a result of explosions,” the IRGC statement said.
According to the statement, the IRGC also struck two air defense systems and a radar installation at two American outposts in Bahrain, as well as missile defense systems, radar stations, and satellite communication systems in Kuwait.
