Tehran, July 21 /Xinhua/ — The Iranian armed forces carried out new retaliatory missile and drone strikes on US targets in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan following another round of American attacks on the Islamic Republic. This was stated in announcements by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), published Tuesday on its official news portal Sepah News.
It is noted that the IRGC Aerospace Forces struck American air defense systems, radars, communication infrastructure, and other military targets in Bahrain and Kuwait, as well as U.S. military facilities in Jordan.
The Corps stated that the attacks were carried out in response to recent US strikes and are aimed at paving the way for broader missile and drone operations against US military targets in the region.
In addition, the Iranian army reported that it carried out missile and drone strikes on several US military facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain, including the Arifjan base, Ahmad Al-Jaber and Sheikh Isa airbases.
The IRGC also stated that it attacked the Amazon data center in Bahrain, claiming that this was in response to a recent US strike on the under-construction Darhovein nuclear power plant in southwestern Iran. –0–
