On July 20, 2026, the Moscow Exchange opened voting for the second IR Award “The Market Chooses,” which is presented to companies for high standards of communication with investors. The nominated companies will be distributed into three categories: small-cap, mid-cap, and large-cap issuers. In each category, there are three nominations:
- “Best IR Manager”;
- “Best IR communication”;
- “Best Chief Financial Officer.”
The methodology includes assessment based on three parameters: disclosure, broad informing, that is, creating information with high added value for investors and its dissemination, as well as active and proactive engagement with investors, which includes working on social networks, organizing events for investors, and quality feedback with the investment community.
Voting will be conducted both by ballot method and by survey method from July 20 to August 17, 2026. The survey will involve the largest Russian institutional investors, including portfolio managers at asset management companies and analysts from investment banks and brokerage firms.
Natalya Loginova, Director of the Department for Working with Issuers at the Moscow Exchange:
“The purpose of the award is to identify companies with the best IR practices that have established the most constructive and fruitful dialogue with investors. I want to emphasize that this competition will not be judged by the Moscow Exchange; the winners are determined by the market itself. The Moscow Exchange wishes issuers to become exemplars of the best corporate practices in Russia and good luck in building high-quality relationships with investors.”
The development of the voting methodology and the evaluation of the IR rating results involves the award partner — the Smart-Lab portal, which actively works with retail investors. The Moscow Exchange launched the IR award for the first time in 2025. More than 300 evaluations from investors were submitted to the contest, who rated over 80 companies.
The award ceremony for the winners will take place on September 7 at the Moscow Exchange IR Forum.
