Mikhail Danilov has become the rector of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The order appointing him was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Mikhail Danilov was born in 1979 in Saratov. He graduated from Saratov National Research State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky and the Russian State University of Trade and Economics. He studied political science, finance, and law.
He began his labor and scientific activity in 2001 at Saratov State University. He held leadership positions in the administrations of the cities of Saratov and Uray, as well as in the government of the Mari El Republic. In addition, he spent several years working on education development issues in the Saratov region.
In May 2025, Mikhail Danilov was appointed Acting Rector of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov.
