All this directly depends on the transport accessibility of small settlements. By the end of 2026, thanks to the national project ‘Infrastructure for Life,’ it is planned to bring 650 sections of the regional and local road network, totaling about 3.4 thousand km—which provide access to villages, hamlets, villages, stanitsas, and other small settlements—up to standard,” said Marat Khusnullin.

Only thanks to the national project ‘Infrastructure for Life’ were 590 road sections to small settlements, totaling 3.5 thousand km, brought to regulatory condition by 2025. Thus, in the Gunibsky District of the Republic of Dagestan, the access road to the village of Megeb from the Gunib – Kumukh highway is being asphalted. Currently, about 1,000 people live in the village, for whom the road is the main connection with the district center. The length of the access road to the village is 6 km. The complete overhaul is planned to be finished by the end of September 2026.
In the Amur region, this year eight facilities ensuring the transport accessibility of small settlements are being brought to regulatory standards. Their total length is more than 83 km.
Thus, in May of this year, repair work began on two sections of the Zeya – Tygda highway in the Magdagachinsky municipal district, with a total length of 6 km. It runs from the federal highway R-297 “Amur” to the village of Tygda, where 2,400 people live.
In the Tambov municipal district, repair work is underway on a 1.9 km section of the access road to the village of Kozmodemyanovka. By the end of August, in addition to laying the asphalt concrete pavement, installation of barrier fencing and road markings is planned. Kozmodemyanovka is one of the centers of agriculture in the Amur region.
In the Sergievsky district of the Samara region, the repair of a section of the route “Sergievsk – Bolshaya Chesnokovka – Kandabulak” to Krasnoselskoye, 6.7 km long, has already been completed. This is the route to the village of Krasnoselskoye, where more than 600 residents live. In addition, a school bus runs here. More than 500 meters of the renovated section runs along Sovetskaya Street, the main street of the village.
