Rector of GUU Vladimir Stroev and Vice-Rector Maria Karelina presented training certificates from GUU to 15 veterans of the special military operation and shared their training experience with the heads of the branches of the State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland”.
Representatives of the State University of Management spoke at a seminar session for deputies in charge of social support and first deputies of branch heads of the State Foundation “Defenders of the Fatherland,” held at the A.I. Meshcheryakov Family Center. The honorary guest of the event was the State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chairwoman of the State Foundation “Defenders of the Fatherland,” Anna Tsivilëva.
Vladimir Stroev and Maria Karelina demonstrated the results of conducting the training course “Basics of Prompt Engineering” for the Family Center’s wards and spoke about new programs in the field of artificial intelligence and unmanned aerial systems operation, the training for which will begin as early as August this year.
In addition, in a solemn atmosphere, the rector of GUU presented certificates of successful completion of the “Fundamentals of Prompt Engineering” course to 15 wards of the Family Center.
The seminar session participants emphasized that creating a comprehensive and seamless system for returning SVO veterans to a full civilian life—from medical rehabilitation to employment—is currently one of the most priority social tasks.
As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to scale the most successful projects in this area, implemented based at the Center, to other regions of the Russian Federation in order to increase the accessibility of support measures and improve the quality of life for all veterans.
Recall that GUU and the A.I. Meshcheryakov Family Center agreed to cooperate in April 2026, and during this time they have held a number of training events for the center’s wards. Our university has an even longer partnership with the “Defenders of the Fatherland” fund, with which a cooperation agreement was signed back in the summer of 2025.
