Minsk, July 15 /Xinhua/ — In Belarus, from January to June 2026, agricultural production in all categories of farms amounted to 13.6 billion Belarusian rubles (about 4.7 billion US dollars) in current prices and increased by 4.7 percent in comparable prices compared to the same period last year. The relevant information was published by the Belarusian National Statistical Committee (Belstat) on Wednesday.
Agricultural organizations in the country produced goods worth 13.3 billion Belarusian rubles /approximately 4.6 billion dollars/, or at comparable prices 4.9 percent more year-on-year.
Agricultural organizations of Belarus produced 97.7% of livestock and poultry (live weight), 98.2% of milk, and 88.6% of eggs.
At the same time, the total volume of livestock and poultry (live weight) produced in agricultural organizations amounted to 925.3 thousand tons (an increase of 5.3%), milk — 4619.9 thousand tons (an increase of 2.9%), eggs — 1725.1 million pieces (an increase of 0.7%). –0–
