Bishkek, July 13 /Xinhua/ — The presentation of the fifth volume of the book “Xi Jinping on State Governance” took place on Monday in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek.
Participants of the event noted that the discussion of the fifth volume of the book “Xi Jinping on State Governance” with the involvement of representatives from various public circles of China and Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), in the year marking the 25th anniversary of the SCO’s establishment, is of great significance. The book systematically presents the theory and practice of modernization in the Chinese style, vividly showcasing China’s conceptual and practical approaches to building a community with a shared future for mankind. The book is an authoritative work that allows for a deeper understanding of Chinese modernization and contemporary China, and serves as an important guide for deepening the exchange of state governance experiences between China and Kyrgyzstan and strengthening the alignment of the development strategies of the two countries.
Former President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva pointed out that the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, is an idea and initiative that influences the entire world. According to her, the high-quality joint construction of the “Belt and Road” opens new opportunities for Kyrgyzstan’s development and contributes to its gradual transformation into an important transport and logistics hub of Eurasia. “A careful study of the logic of China’s development, mechanisms of state governance, and long-term planning undoubtedly holds great practical value for us,” emphasized R. Otunbayeva.
The State Secretary of Kyrgyzstan, Arslan Koychiev, noted that China has become the country that has most successfully adapted Marxism to local conditions and has accumulated extensive experience in applying the fundamental principles of Marxism to national realities. As he emphasized, to understand 21st-century Marxism, it is necessary to carefully study the works of Chairman Xi Jinping. A. Koychiev added that reading the book “Xi Jinping on State Governance” helps deepen the understanding of Kyrgyzstan’s relations with China and the world, inspiring mutual enrichment of civilizations through practical cooperation for development and prosperity.
According to SCO Deputy Secretary-General Piao Yangfan, China and Kyrgyzstan, as founding states of the SCO, have made a unique contribution to the creation and development of the “Shanghai Five” mechanism. She noted that this important book containing Xi Jinping’s speeches on building a community of shared future between China and Central Asia, as well as a community of shared future within the SCO, points the way for further strengthening cohesion and cooperation among the countries of the region, enhancing security and stability, aligning development strategies, and deepening mutual understanding among the peoples.
During the presentation, the Chinese side gifted the guests from Kyrgyzstan the third volume of the book “Xi Jinping on State Governance” in the Kyrgyz language and the fifth volume of this work in Russian. Representatives of the medical community and media of Kyrgyzstan shared stories of Chinese-Kyrgyz cooperation, reflecting the practical embodiment of the principle “people above all.” Experts participating in the event exchanged views on issues of modernization in the Chinese style, building a community with a shared future for mankind, implementing the Global Governance Initiative, jointly constructing the “Belt and Road,” and the mutual enrichment of civilizations.
The presentation was jointly organized by the Press Office of the State Council of the PRC, the China International Communication Group (CICG), and the Embassy of the PRC in Kyrgyzstan.
