An additional 290 million rubles will be allocated for subsidizing loans to construction companies building housing in small towns. This directive was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.

We are talking about apartment buildings being constructed in small towns with a population of up to 100,000 people and low demand for housing. Thanks to federal funds, developers using escrow accounts to attract co-investor funds will be able to obtain preferential loans at an interest rate of 12% per annum.

“Thanks to such preferential financing, thousands of families across the country will be able to celebrate their housewarming,” emphasized Mikhail Mishustin while discussing the decision made at at the meeting with the Deputy Prime Ministers on July 13.

In 2026, companies engaged in the construction of 200 thousand square meters of housing scheduled for completion by the end of 2026 will be able to use preferential loans.

The interest rate subsidy program for loans provided to developers under the project financing mechanism was launched in 2025 by order of the President.
