Dear workers and veterans of the fisheries sector! Congratulations on your professional holiday.

Thanks to your work, one of the important sectors of the Russian economy is developing.

Our country maintains a place in the top five countries in terms of the volume of aquatic bioresource extraction. The domestic market is fully supplied with fish products, and on the world stage, we have established ourselves as a responsible and reliable partner: today, domestic fish products are exported to more than 100 countries.

A consistent fleet renewal is underway under the investment quota program. Modern vessels enable efficient fishing and deep processing of products. Achievements in fisheries science allow us to lay a solid foundation for further modernization of the industry.

The aquaculture segment is developing. Processing capacities are simultaneously increasing, which raises the added value of the products.

The President has set a strategic goal for further increasing the production and export of agricultural products. In the fisheries complex, we are also gradually moving towards achieving this goal. Therefore, all sectors will continue to develop.

Thank you to everyone whose life is connected with strengthening the positions of domestic fishing and preserving its traditions. Your challenging work requires high professionalism and dedication. But its results make a huge contribution to the food security of our country.

I wish you and your families good health, new successes, and well-being. May your work bring you joy and well-deserved recognition!
