During the conversation, the parties discussed the implementation in the region of several breakthrough projects, the work on which is being carried out within the economic development model of the North Caucasus, approved at a strategic session under the leadership of the Chairman of the Government and implemented since November 2021. The “Green Energy Development” project has already been realized, and several large enterprises have been launched as part of the “Creation and Development of Logistics Centers” and “Creation and Development of the Agro-Industrial Cluster” projects. Despite external and internal factors, active work continues in other areas within the breakthrough projects, adhering to the planned schedules and maintaining the pace of construction.
The prospects for the modernization of the region’s electrical grid infrastructure were considered. To achieve this goal, a long-term program until 2030 has been developed jointly with the company “Rosseti”, involving about 8.5 billion rubles of investments to implement over 40 measures. The largest of these will be the expansion and reconstruction of 7 substations in major cities of the region: Yessentuki, Kislovodsk, Stavropol, and Nevinnomyssk. The design of two new feeding centers in Stavropol and Lermontov is also planned, which will strengthen the energy security of these territories.
Fuel supply for the Stavropol Territory was also discussed: issues of forming and maintaining the necessary fuel reserves, uninterrupted operation of logistics chains, and interaction with suppliers and manufacturers. Both parties emphasized that the situation is under constant control by federal and regional authorities, which allows for operational monitoring of processes and coordination of actions by all market participants.
