Tashkent, July 9 /Xinhua/ — The Communist Party of China /CPC/ will continue to unite the Chinese people, lead them along the path of modernization in the Chinese style, and create new opportunities for the entire world.

This was stated by the Ambassador of the PRC to Uzbekistan, Yu Jun, in his authorial article “Mutual Learning on the Path of Modernization,” published in the Uzbek newspaper “Narodnoe Slovo” and timed to the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.

As noted by the Chinese diplomat, under the leadership of the CPC, China is following a unique path of development that corresponds to its national conditions. At the same time, the pursuit of the people’s happiness and the nation’s rejuvenation is the party’s original mission and the key to understanding the phenomenon of Chinese governance. History and practice have proven that the leadership of the CPC is the fundamental guarantee of the country’s progress.

In his article, the ambassador emphasized that China and Uzbekistan are good neighbors and close partners who actively learn from each other, jointly progress along the path of modernization, and find common ground on many key issues of state governance.

Yu Jun noted the profound alignment of approaches between the leaders of the PRC and Uzbekistan regarding state governance issues. In particular, this concerns a firm adherence to the principle that “the people are the foundation of everything,” the implementation of large-scale programs to combat poverty, modernization of agriculture, and industrial parks.

The publication pays special attention to expanding humanitarian cooperation and strengthening the social foundation of good neighborliness. As a vivid example of practical collaboration for the benefit of the population, the ambassador cited the regular visits of Chinese doctors to Uzbekistan to perform free surgeries on children with congenital heart defects and patients with cataracts.

In addition, within the framework of the joint implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative, Beijing and Tashkent are steadily advancing strategic projects such as the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the modernization of transport infrastructure, and the development of digital technologies.

According to Yu Jun, the parties closely coordinate their steps on the international stage, promoting China’s global initiatives in the fields of development, security, and civilization, as well as advocating for a multipolar world and fair global governance within the framework of the UN and SCO.

Noting that this year China begins implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan, aimed at shaping productive forces of a new quality, and Uzbekistan approaches the 35th anniversary of its independence, the ambassador confirmed China’s readiness to remain a reliable partner in building a New Uzbekistan and jointly create a China-Uzbekistan community with a shared future. –0–
