Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova and Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov launched the two-day forum taking place in Moscow at the International Trade Center. The opening was also attended by Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board and Director of the Roscongress Foundation, and Vladimir Mashkov, Chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia.

Tatyana Golikova reminded that the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has set a national goal — the preservation of the population, strengthening its health, as well as increasing life expectancy. The forum is dedicated to solutions and methods, scientific achievements, as well as cultural achievements aimed at increasing life expectancy and improving its quality, she emphasized.

“The Russian Federation has been working in this direction for quite a long time, implementing relevant national projects that are formed on the instructions of the head of state. Having gained corresponding practical experience and guided also by global trends, we formulated starting from last year and officially introduced new mechanisms for working with longevity from 2026,” said Tatyana Golikova.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that starting this year, the program of state guarantees for free medical care for citizens already includes new infrastructure related to healthy longevity programs. In addition, there is ongoing transformation operating health and healthy longevity centers in Russia in such a way that specialists there could also work with healthy individuals and risk factors for disease development.

Valery Falkov, in turn, emphasized that achieving the national goal of increasing life expectancy and quality of life is possible only through the combined efforts of specialists from various scientific fields.

“A solid evidence base is necessary for the development of healthy longevity medicine. Therefore, at the forum venue, we are discussing the transition from evidence-based medicine 2.0 to medicine 3.0. This is a new model in which the doctor relies on a large body of scientific data, including genetic, omics, and digital technologies, to build an individualized trajectory for each patient to maintain health,” emphasized the minister.

He added that the scientific teams subordinate to the Ministry, including the Institute of Biology of Aging and Healthy Longevity Medicine of the Russian Scientific Center of Surgery named after Academician B.V. Petrovsky, are already translating fundamental knowledge into clinical practice – into markers of accelerated aging, methods for their detection, and evidence-based approaches to correction.

More than 2,000 participants gathered at the forum platform “Russia and the World: Trends of Healthy Longevity,” including experts, scientists, and doctors from Russia and 13 countries around the world, as well as representatives of federal and regional executive authorities.

An important part of the forum will be the exhibition display, featuring modern domestic developments, innovative solutions, and the best regional practices in the field of healthy longevity. The central element of the exhibition will be the model of the Center for Healthy Longevity Medicine of the Russian Scientific Center of Surgery named after Academician B.V. Petrovsky, where visitors will be able to undergo a comprehensive express diagnosis to determine their biological age and receive personalized recommendations from specialists.

The exhibition will also feature modern biomedical technologies, products from Russian manufacturers, solutions in the field of proper nutrition, and dietary supplements.

A special place in the program will be given to the cultural agenda. Forum participants will attend a theatrical performance as part of the “Like-minded” session, as well as a series of lectures and master classes dedicated to the interaction of medicine, science, and art as essential factors in shaping healthy longevity.
