Flexible learning system and individual success trajectory: what the State University of Management can offer applicants who scored the maximum points on the Unified State Exam.
These questions were discussed at a meeting with Pre-University alumna Darya Grachyova, who scored 300 points on the Unified State Exam in three subjects.
Rector Vladimir Stroev, vice-rectors Pavel Pavlovsky, Dmitry Bryukhanov, Maria Karelina, and advisor to the rectorate Sergey Chuev learned about Darya’s preferences in choosing a field of study and offered suitable programs implemented by the State University of Management (GUU).
Vladimir Stroev emphasized that our university has established a flexible education system: even if a student wishes to change their field in the first year, an internal transfer will pose no difficulties – it is a standard and well-established procedure.
“Also interesting are programs with two qualifications; we have several such programs, including in the IT field. You study with top experts and in 4 years obtain two directions for further development both professionally and for admission to graduate school and, later, to doctoral studies,” the rector suggested.
Vice-Rector Maria Karelina noted the university’s readiness to create a personalized educational path for the applicant, taking into account her requests and aspirations, and also spoke about the developed scientific infrastructure of the State University of Management.
Since Daria is professionally engaged in sports, the meeting discussed not only a wide range of educational programs but also touched upon the topic of quality sports training for students, which was confirmed by the ‘gold status’ of the GUU student sports club received for the second consecutive year.
In addition, the meeting covered projects being implemented by young scientists and students in collaboration with government agencies and industry partners, including in the field of digital technologies.
