Order dated July 7, 2026 No.1478-r
The government has expanded the list of strategically important medicines that ensure the priority needs of the healthcare system for the prevention and treatment of diseases by 149 items. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The decision to expand the list was made based on proposals received from drug manufacturers. Among the drugs added to the list are essential and vital medicines, medications for the treatment of especially dangerous infections, socially significant diseases, and diseases that pose a danger to others.
The full cycle of production of drugs from the list must be ensured within the country’s territory, and the organization of their production can be supported by the state. In addition, drugs included in the list have priority in government procurement. This helps maintain the stability of supplies of necessary medications to clinics and hospitals.
