On July 1, 2026, after more than six months of reconstruction, a new permanent exhibition “History of the Development of Chinese Railways” officially opened in the renovated Zhengyangmen exhibition hall of the China Railway Museum. The modernized museum, with the help of immersive and interactive exhibits, allows visitors to experience and feel the century-long journey of the development of Chinese railways.
