Beijing, July 6 /Xinhua/ — China’s logistics sector continued to expand in June 2026, according to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) released on Sunday.
According to data, the index reflecting the state of the country’s logistics market and serving as an indicator of economic activity was 50.6% in June, which is 0.3 percentage points higher than the May figure.
Out of 12 sub-indices, nine remained in the expansion range, while the volume of operations index and the new orders index showed consistent growth compared to the previous month.
The CFLP reported that demand for manufacturing logistics in China continued to grow while maintaining stability. In manufacturing sectors such as electronic and mechanical equipment, telecommunications equipment, transportation equipment, and energy-saving household appliances, a recovery trend is observed.
The CFLZ also reported that consumer demand for logistics remained stable in June, as holiday spending contributed to increased business activity in wholesale trade, retail chains, and supermarkets. -0-
