Shenyang, July 4 /Xinhua/ — Three people died as a result of heavy rains on Saturday in Fushun city, Liaoning Province /Northeast China/. This was reported by local authorities.
A heavy downpour struck the urban area of Fushun from 01:00 to 07:00, with a maximum rainfall level reaching 329.2 mm. A total of 3,596 residents were evacuated to safe areas.
City authorities are making every effort to carry out emergency rescue operations and eliminate the consequences of the disaster; normal public order is gradually being restored. –0–
