Beijing, July 3 /Xinhua/ — China will use the World Conference on Artificial Intelligence and the High-Level Conference on Global Artificial Intelligence Governance as a favorable opportunity to activate exchanges and cooperation with all parties in building a global artificial intelligence governance system based on broad consensus, said Vice Premier of China Han Zheng on Friday in Beijing.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 14th World Peace Forum, Han Zheng called for strengthened governance in emerging industries such as artificial intelligence.
China has put forward the Global AI Governance Initiative, advocating for the preservation of a human-centered approach and upholding the principle of artificial intelligence for the good.
