Yinchuan, July 3 /Xinhua/ — The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (NHAR, Northwest China) has exported Simmental cattle to Uzbekistan for the first time, local authorities reported.
Recently, a transport convoy with 274 heads of Simmental cattle and 51 Holstein dairy cows left the territory of the State Agricultural Scientific and Technical Park in the city of Wuzhong. The trucks transporting the livestock will cover a total distance of about 4,300 km and arrive in Uzbekistan.
The local customs service has taken special measures to ensure that the export complies with veterinary and sanitary requirements. According to local authorities, from November 2025 onwards, NHAR has already delivered over 1,100 live cows to Uzbekistan. -0-
