Bishkek, July 3 /Xinhua/ — Over the past decades, China has achieved tremendous results in its own development. This is inextricably linked to the policy of the Communist Party of China /CPC/ and its leading role in state governance. This was stated in an interview with Xinhua by the Kyrgyz political scientist, professor of the International University “Ala-Too”, Kubanychbek Taabaldiev.

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the CCP. As K. Taabaldiev pointed out, under the leadership of the CCP, China has been able to achieve sustainable economic development over decades and lift hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. “These results were achieved under the leading role of the Chinese CCP in the system of state governance both at the central and regional levels,” he said.

According to the expert, the CPC adheres to a development concept in which the people occupy a central place. “This is reflected in the implementation of large-scale programs to improve social conditions for the entire population,” K. Taabaldiev pointed out. “China’s experience demonstrates the importance of ensuring that the results of economic growth are practically reflected in raising the quality of life of citizens.”

From a political scientist’s point of view, one of the key reasons for the CCP’s success can be considered its ability to combine strategic planning with flexibility in implementing reforms. Chinese modernization shows that successful development can be carried out based on a national model that takes into account historical traditions, features of state governance, and the level of the country’s economic development.

“China actively utilized global experience, but adapted it to domestic conditions, not aiming to fully replicate foreign models,” he emphasized, adding that the Chinese model has been repeatedly adjusted to changing internal and external conditions while maintaining the long-term development goals of the state.

According to K. Taabaldiev, the Communist Party of China managed to demonstrate the real potential of management structures through practical examples, which sparked interest among other political parties. “Among these are long-term state planning, prioritizing the development of infrastructure, investments in education, science and technology, as well as a focus on improving the population’s living standards,” he said.

The expert added that for developing countries, the experience of the CPC in leading the country’s sequential industrialization, in the development of transport and digital infrastructure, in supporting the manufacturing sector, attracting investments, and so on, can be valuable.

K. Taabaldiev believes that China, ruled by the Communist Party of China, plays a significant role in maintaining the international order and participating in global governance. According to him, China actively engages in international activities, promoting initiatives in infrastructure cooperation, sustainable development, climate change mitigation, and expanding economic ties between countries.

“China is the world’s second-largest economy. The decisions it makes under the leadership of the Communist Party of China have a significant impact on the global economy, international trade, and investment processes,” he emphasized.

K. Taabaldiev highly appreciates that amid the current complex situation in the world, China advocates for a multipolar international relations system and the expansion of the role of developing countries in global governance.

“It is indisputable that China’s influence on the formation of the modern world order continues to grow, and its participation is becoming an important factor in solving global problems,” he said.
