First Deputy Chairman of the Government Denis Manturov held a meeting on the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture, VEB.RF and the Russian Export Center (a group within VEB.RF).

State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Roman Chekushov reported on the achievement of the national project’s goals set for 2026. The volume of exports of non-raw, non-energy goods from January to April 2026 increased by almost 10% compared to the same period last year, reaching about 54 billion dollars. The growth was driven by increased supplies to foreign markets of both industrial products and food. Among the most successful sectors are non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, and the chemical industry. The leaders in imports of Russian goods are the EAEU countries, China, India, and Turkey.

The CEO of the Russian Export Center, Veronika Nikishina, noted that the first months of 2026 demonstrate a steady demand from Russian businesses for tools supporting foreign economic activity: over four months, more than 6,000 companies have already benefited from the support measures of the REC group, while the digital ecosystem “My Export” has become the key entry point to foreign markets, uniting 20,000 exporters. Additionally, concrete results are being achieved through exhibition and other business activities: since the beginning of the year, more than 500 companies have participated in 14 exhibitions and 9 business missions organized by REC.
