Berlin, July 2 /Xinhua/ — At least two people died and 34 were injured on Thursday as a result of a fire in a hospital in the city of Ludwigslust in northeastern Germany. This was reported by local media.
According to authorities, the fire broke out on the roof of the radiology department at around 4:30 local time.
The fire has been brought under control, but authorities have not yet determined its cause.
Evacuation is currently underway in the hospital and adjoining buildings. According to the fire department, patients are in a safe location on the hospital grounds. No further details are available at this time. –0–
