The State University of Management became the laureate of the “Leaders of ‘Startup as a Diploma'” award, and the rector of SUM received gratitude for promoting the program.
The significant contribution of the State University of Management to the training of future entrepreneurs was recognized at the country’s main project competition.
At the All-Russian award “Leaders ‘Startup as a Diploma'”, which was presented for the first time this year, GUU received an award in the “University” category.
Moreover, Rector Vladimir Stroev was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science for his contribution to the development of youth entrepreneurship and the popularization of the ‘Startup as a Diploma’ program.
It should be noted that at the State University of Management, starting from the first year, 100% of students participate in project activities, solving real cases from employers and working in groups.
In addition, the head of the Department of Innovation Management, Viktoria Degtyareva, received an award in the category “Scientific Supervisor,” and the GUU master’s student and winner of the 2025 “Startup as a Diploma” competition, Danila Yakovlev, was among the laureates in the “Ambassador” category.
Recall that earlier in the final of the All-Russian competition “Startup as a Diploma” 2026, the project of the GUU master’s student Varvara Karamysheva took 5th place.
